Naaybox is an initiative that aims to promote reading and encourage a love for books in rural areas of Mexico where infrastructure for schools and public libraries is lacking. To bridge this gap, Naaybox combines tablets, digital books, and itinerant vans that travel across rural regions to encourage children and their parents to engage in literacy and creative workshops.
This initiative provides a more affordable alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar libraries while addressing pressing social issues in Mexico, such as the preservation of traditions, development of creativity, dissemination of arts and science, and social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
