The Building
Highlighting the issue of urban decay in Latin American cities, this comic book tells the story of the rise and fall of a building in La Favorita, a central neighborhood in Bogotá, Colombia.
Mr. Levin, a clockmaker, arrives in the city of Bogota in 1938 to set up his workshop on the first floor of a small building in La Favorita neighborhood, thus starting a new life. There, he meets Mrs. Blanca, who lives very quietly on the third floor, and together they witness the constant turnover of tenants on the middle floor. Until a little boy arrives in the 1980s and changes their lives forever.
